IT Architecture Management
IT Architecture
IT Architecture (ITA) Management is an essential component of Enterprise Architecture Management

IT Architecture Management comprises the following major tasks:

  • Describing the current state (as-is) of IT assets and processes
  • Defining the future state (to-be) of IT assets and processes
  • Governing the transition from the current state to the future state

The entirety of the Organization’s IT-related elements/assets and processes (stored in a Common Repository where information is reused), can be shared via an intranet or internet portal to all internal and external stakeholders for reference (as an up-to-date ‘operations manual’), training and feedback.

SPIRIT uses the ARIS methodology and software suite to develop an Organization’s IT Architecture (ITA), which can be based on any process reference framework (e.g. TOGAF, ITIL) to meet customer-specific needs and requirements. Clear specifications of the changes to be implemented, on a conceptual as well as technical level, enable the necessary improvement interventions.

During execution, some of the changes to be implemented may include the need for IT automation in different process areas. As an IBM Business Partner in the Websphere BPM area and an Oracle Partner in the SOA area, SPIRIT can offer its customers the latest end-to-end (i.e. business to IT) technical applications and solutions.
